Which links earn us money
Every button and link that says "Book", "Check dates", "See all on GetYourGuide" or opens a GetYourGuide booking calendar is an affiliate link. These links go straight to GetYourGuide and carry our partner code, so GetYourGuide can tell that the booking came from this site. They are marked rel="sponsored" in the page code, as search engines ask.
We work with one booking partner only: GetYourGuide. We do not earn anything from Pursuit, Parks Canada, Roam Transit, Viator, Expedia, Tripadvisor or any operator we mention, and we do not link to them for money.
What it costs you
Nothing. The price you see on GetYourGuide is the same whether you arrive from our link or type the address yourself. The commission comes out of GetYourGuide's margin, not your pocket.
How it affects what we write
It doesn't decide our recommendations, and we go out of our way to show where that matters:
- If booking direct with the operator is cheaper or more flexible — as it sometimes is for the Lake Minnewanka cruise, for instance with an Alberta resident discount — we say so, even though that booking earns us nothing.
- Some things worth doing at the lake can't be booked through us at all (boat rentals at the marina, the Beer Voyage, Parks Canada permits). We describe them anyway.
- Ratings and review counts on product cards are GetYourGuide's own figures, read on the date shown. We don't edit them.
Prices on this site
Prices are "from" prices for one adult in Canadian dollars, read from GetYourGuide on the date shown on each page. They change with date, time of day and group size, and the platform's checkout is always the final word.
